Pence Visits Rushville; Meets With Local Officials, Business Leaders and Constituents
RUSHVILLE—U.S. Representative Greg Pence visited local leaders, constituents and area businesses Tuesday during an extended visit to Rush County.
"I am pleased to have had the opportunity to spend time with constituents on a very productive day in Rush County,” Pence said. “Days like these help guide my work in Washington on behalf of Hoosiers throughout the 6th District."
Rep. Pence visited Copeland Corporation (a part of Emerson), a company that makes air compression units for refrigerators. The Congressman met with management and staff to discuss issues important to their industry. A big topic was the need for the USMCA.
PHI Air Medical
Rep. Pence next visited PHI Air Medical in Rushville, where he met with pilots, nurses and communications specialists specifically trained and ready to respond at a moment's notice. The Congressman was briefed on the helicopter and its teams’ capabilities.
Rushville Mayor Mike Pavey
After visiting PHI Air Medical, Pence met with Rushville Mayor Mike Pavey, and his staff, for a legislative update and to listen to what the Congressman can do to best serve the area.
Indiana Farm Bureau Roundtable
Wrapping up a busy day in Rush County, Pence met with local farmers and Farm Bureau members to discuss issues impacting the Hoosier agriculture industry. The Indiana Farm Bureau Roundtable was hosted by Virgil and Crystal Bremer.
