Congressman Pence Sworn into Office to Serve Indiana’s 6th District

WASHINGTON, D.C.—U.S. Congressman Greg Pence was sworn into office today, where he will serve Indiana’s 6th District. Joining him was family, friends and supporters.

"It is an honor and a privilege to serve the people of Indiana’s 6th District," Congressman Pence said. "Indiana sent this Marine to Washington to fight for Hoosier values and I will always put our constituents first."

Congressman Pence is a husband, grandfather, small businessman and veteran who will bring his Hoosier values to Washington, D.C. to help restore the American Dream.

Joining the Marines in 1979, Pence understands the meaning of service and sacrifice. He believes in our solemn obligation to care for our nation’s veterans and will make it a priority to serve those who have served in uniform.

Pence and his wife Denise reside in Columbus, in the same house in which they raised their four children.

"My priorities will always include job creation, economic growth, and the protection of our conservative values in Washington,” Pence said. “I look forward to this tremendous honor to represent the place I live and the only place I will ever call home."
