Press Release

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Congressman Greg Pence (IN-06) today released the following statement upon the House passage of the Phase Three Coronavirus relief package, for which he was in Washington, D.C. to vote. The legislation passed the Senate on Wednesday and now heads to President Trump’s desk to be signed into law.

“I am here in Congress to be a voice for Hoosiers in Indiana’s Sixth District and to support President Trump’s fight for the health and prosperity of the American people. This pandemic has upended our lives, and Americans are suffering. But the American fighting spirit is stronger than this virus,” said Congressman Pence. “Congress has come together to provide relief for hospitals, workers, families, and small business owners. This legislative package is the biggest relief funding in the history of our nation. It is not perfect and too much petty politicking has happened at the expense of the American people. But for Americans who are suffering, one day feels like a lifetime. We can’t afford to wait another minute for relief from COVID-19.”
