Greg Pence Applauds Senate Passage of USMCA
Landmark Trade Deal Heads to President Trump’s Desk
Washington D.C. - U.S. Congressman Greg Pence (IN-06) released a statement today following the Senate passage of President Trump's new North American trade deal, the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA).
"Signing USMCA into law will bring billions to our nation and tens of thousands of new jobs for Americans. This is a huge win for American workers, farmers and manufacturers, and it's about time Congress got to the People's work instead of a partisan impeachment circus," said Congressman Pence. "I applaud the Trump Administration's dedication to our nation's farmers and manufacturers."
Pence joined 159 of his Republican colleagues, led by Agriculture Committee Ranking Member Michael Conaway, this congress to urge Speaker Pelosi to immediately put the USMCA on the House floor for a vote.
He again stood up on behalf of American farmers and manufacturers in a letter to Speaker Pelosi with his colleagues on the House Foreign Affairs Committee urging her to put aside the partisan impeachment sham impeding the work of the American people.
Congressman Greg Pence represents Indiana's 6th District. From Columbus, Indiana, Pence advocates for conservative Hoosier values as a member of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee and House Foreign Affairs Committee.
